Anonymous asked: You remove reuploads on youtube, my question is why? isn't it free promotion?
Tell you why: I love that people are sharing my edits, but to a certain extent. I always want to be in control of the videos I make (for my copyright notifications in the description, for example), so if someone reuploads the video, I lose that control. So I try to communicate with the uploader (they usually don’t respond), and if that doesn’t work I put a copyright hit on them and YouTube removes it for me.
And then there’s people who put up ads next to it or slap their own watermarks on it. I don’t have anything to say to them.

I’m not ‘retiring’, but there will be less content. [the films of] was a great way to keep me busy, but now I’d really like to try something different. Not quite sure yet what that will be, but I’ll let you all know as soon as I find out!

movelikeajellyfish asked: I'm so absolutely excited for Cinema 2011, I must watch the promo (which is so incredibly beautiful in itself) at least once a day. You have quite the gift and I thank-you for creating such amazing things.
Thank YOU!
Anonymous asked: Picture lock on Cinema 2011?? How do you feel:) ?
Very relieved! There was a point in editing it where I wasn’t quite sure what it was going to be, but after watching some more of the films the ideas started to pour in and I’m very glad with the results. It’s very different from what you have seen but it’s also very familiar. I think you’ll be very pleased!
